66 donors have generously given $16,605 for Give to the Max Day and our Year-End Campaign! We exceeded our goal of $15,000!

Thanks to all you givers out there for helping us continue this good work! And a special thanks to our four Match Donors for their initiative and inspiring gifts! Your gifts will help us continue telling stories that connect, encourage and inspire.  

We’re particularly excited to continue working on our next story, our new show premiering next September— telling the stories of the Great Hinckley Fire. Keep your eyes open for further details about a reading this Spring and the premiere next Fall.

Bucket Brigade LOVES stories. Heck, don’t we all? We’re wired for story. It’s in our DNA. Stories move us, connect us, teach us— they build empathy and community, and in this current contentious political landscape, stories serve as a table around which we can all gather.

Support Bucket Brigade as we continue sharing stories— particularly as we write and develop a brand new piece of theater premiering next fall— Survivors of the Fire: Remembering the Great Hinckley Fire of 1894. A moving theatrical experience combining stories, music, and meaningful ritual to help us remember, grieve and hope together on the 130th anniversary of the fire.

Here are the stories we’re sharing in 2024!

• February 2nd-17th, 2024– The return of ’Til Death: A Marriage Musical, the Valentine’s show that’s been bringing couples together for twelve seasons– to share laughs, a few tears, and be reminded about the rigororous, ridiculous, rewarding work of lasting love. Plus, deeelicious cupcakes made by our neighborhood bakery and community partner, Brake Bread!

• April 27th, 2024– Our 6th Annual Spring Smorgasbord! Join us as we share a tasty variety of good music, good stories and good food for our spring fundraiser concert! This year we’re featuring excerpts from our newest show telling the moving and remarkable stories of The Great Hinckley Fire of 1894.

• July 2024– Summer Theater Camps– bringing student artists together to share their stories through original, topical theater in their own words.

• September/October 2024– The premiere of our newest original show, Survivors of the Fire: Remembering the Great Hinckley Fire of 1894. A moving theatrical experience combining stories, music, and meaningful ritual to help us remember, grieve and hope together on the 130th anniversary of the fire.
