We need 100 neighbors to invest $10 per month to support youth empowerment in our neighborhood and beyond!

Hello neighbor!

We're Beloved Community MPLS, a year-round youth leadership program for teens of color, ages 14-18 in partnership with Bancroft Neighborhood Association. You've likely seen our projects around town--from growing food in our many raised beds, painting local murals, shoveling snow, and beyond. We put the power of change into the hands of young people who are developing the confidence and mindset to care for the wellbeing of their community.

For many youth, Beloved Community MPLS is also their first job! Participants develop skills that can grow into careers in agriculture, food preparation, the trades, art & design and community development, while also learning to work on a team. Our youth earn income for every hour they give to the community, leading to a greater sense of independence and money management skills.

Dr. King envisioned a beloved community as one where people band together to eliminate poverty, hunger and hate. Join Beloved Community MPLS and help ensure our youth continue to have opportunities to learn, work, earn and contribute to the vibrancy that lights up all of our community and lives.

You can can donate once or invest monthly. While one-time gifts are really helpful, long-term investment is a powerful way to sustain our work!
