A.C.T.S. 4 Kids accomplishes its mission through three initiatives:
- Shop 4 Kids - is directed at physical needs of children like inadequate clothing, bedding, and personal care products. Staff at our partner schools simply email the coordinator with needs which in turn are posted on our secure church communication website where someone out of a group of 150 volunteers can claim the need, shop for the item and deliver it to the school
- Reading Buddies - places trained volunteers into the classrooms to be Reading Buddies with early elementary school children.
- Food 4 Friends - provides supplemental food delivered in a backpack to the children through their schools on Friday afternoons
