2024 GIVE IN MAY !!

Asian American Organizing Project is excited to be moving into the month of May as we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month! This month is dedicated to reflecting, honoring and celebrating the influence and contributions of the different AAPI communities. It’s important to recognize the role that Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders have played in our shared history and continue to shape.

When it comes to AAPI communities, unfortunately, the reality is that oftentimes our concerns and needs are left unseen. When our voices aren’t being heard, this is a threat to AAPI communities as it directly results in our issues not being addressed. It’s important for all of us to unify and amplify our voices to share the concerns we may personally be facing in our communities, as wants and needs may vary from the differing Asian communities.

This year, we are dedicating our fundraising efforts towards our FIRST EVER 2024 Asian Youth Justice Summit that we will be hosting this summer!! Join us as we strive to reach our goal of $15K, we are just $4K away! Your donations will help support our efforts in providing local Asian youth an opportunity to meet others and build new relationships, learn and expand their political knowledge as it relates to their intersectional identities, and have conversations centered around their struggles and healing.
