The pandemic has taken a toll on community college students. In a student survey, we found that 2 in 5 community college students are struggling with food insecurity in the last 30 days and 65% of college students are concerned about their mental health.

This year we started an emergency grant program to help students that are struggling with the pandemic. In the last several months, the federal government has recognized this need by allocating over $50 million to students facing crisis. However, there are many students that are still ineligible for these emergency grants - International students, DACA students and students that have someone else paying for school.

These students are also struggling, so LeadMN is raising money to support these students. With the end of the semester, students are running low on funds and now is a critical time to help them out. Please consider giving just $5 or $10 to help these students out.  The Emergency grants of $100-200 will be given to students in need that complete a short application.
