Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in South Minneapolis is guiding high-school students of color to success through diplomas and college degrees. In addition to the rigorous educational preparation, a hallmark of the Cristo Rey student experience comes through our Corporate Work Study Program. It is “in office” with our corporate partners where these young professionals discover meaningful work, make connections, and find the support needed to grow.

One of our great logistical challenges is in transportation, not just moving 350 students from home to school, but also driving 100 students safely to their work-study companies and back every day. Our reliance on third-party bus companies, supply chain limitations in obtaining student-approved vehicles, and paying a competitive wage to attract class-C licensed drivers create a multifaceted issue to address.

To solve this dilemma, our goal is to increase our fleet and drivers, providing Cristo Rey students with a more reliable and safe way to get to school and work. Your generous contribution can help our students get to school and work daily, and together we can help each student reach their graduate and career destinations.
