Our goal is that all of our under-resourced students graduate from college through our college-prep education & professional work experience

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School opened in the fall of 2007 providing a high quality, college-preparatory academic program to under-resourced families in the Twin Cities. Unique to Cristo Rey Jesuit H.S. is our work/study program, called CWSP. Each student underwrites approximately 50% of their educational costs by working in entry-level positions at leading companies and organizations in the Twin Cities. The Cristo Rey model allows our students to participate in a rigorous, college preparatory education that would otherwise be beyond their means while learning a strong work ethic and gaining valuable professional experience for future careers.

In June 2011, we celebrated our first graduation as 61 students walked across the stage to receive their high school diplomas. 100% of our first graduating class was accepted to college or the military. Our students' success was repeated in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 when again, 100% of graduating seniors were accepted to college. Our graduates are enrolled at such universities as Georgetown University, Carleton College, Marquette University, and the University of Minnesota.

Providing such an opportunity costs more than what the students earn in their work/study placements, so we must raise funds to sustain our mission.
