Give to the Max is Minnesota's largest fundraising day for non-profits & we would love if you helped No Dog Left Behind (and us!) reach their fundraising goal. No Dog Left Behind (NDLB) is a volunteer- and foster-based animal rescue, meaning that all of their dogs are placed in foster homes until they are adopted. NDLB is an incredibly important part of my life - I am one of their core volunteers, primarily running their social media pages. I am also in charge of Give to the Max, so I'm really really hoping to smash our goal! All of the money raised goes directly to our rescue dogs.

Since 2021, me and Isaac have fostered 13 dogs. It's been an honor to be a part of their stories. This year we have fostered three dogs.

S'mores is a Sheltie that was rescued from a puppy mill. She was scared when she came into rescue; S'mores would run from us if we approached her, she flinched away from pets, and crossing thresholds was difficult for her. On top of that, S'mores needed to see a cardiologist for a heart murmur. We fostered her for 3 months before she was adopted! S'mores is continuing to make progress in her furever home. She's now named Macy!

Jillian is a Lab mix that ended up at a local shelter after being found as a stray. The shelter was overflowing and they were going to make some tough decisions, so we decided to take her in. Jelly was an absolutely amazing girl. She was very sweet, super playful, and completely trained. Peanut butter-stuffed kongs were her favorite. After a month and a half in rescue, Jelly found her perfect family & she now has a big house to play in and two kiddos to keep her company. She is now named Mabel.

Sunshine is a Golden Retriever that was also rescued from a puppy mill. Sunny is probably the most scared dog we've ever fostered. She would spend most of her time in her kennel, but eventually she started laying on the couch with us. Progress was slow with Sunny, but we didn't mind all that much because she is a very sweet girl. Cheese encourages her to be brave!! Sunny was just recently adopted and now lives a quiet life with her new mom and dad!

We'll continue to foster because it's been such a joy and blessing. Please help NDLB this year! Their vetting bills exceed $300,000 every year and they rely on donations to keep them afloat. Read more about NDLB at www.ndlbrescue.org
