Tee It Up For The Troops Longest Day - Team Cuabo

"The Longest Day" originally referred to those who fought four our freedom on D-Day (June 6,1944).   On Friday, June 9, 2023 (one of the longest days of the year), I will be participating in the Annual Longest Day of Golf for the Troops marathon fundraising event.

Golfers will Tee It Up for the Troops at the crack of dawn and play until sundown to raise money to honor, remember, respect and support all those who serve(d) in the Armed Forces for our great nation.

As a veteran of the US Air Force, I am proud to have served my country.  While I am fortunate to have completed my tours of service relatively unscathed, there are many of my fellow veterans that were negatively impacted, suffering from both physical and mental wounds to include depression, isolation and PTSD.   The Tee It Up For the Troops organization based out of Burnsville MN, was founded with a mission to honor, remember, respect, and support veterans’ transitions from the battlefront to the home front and raise awareness about the profound and enduring effects of combat on our nation’s heroes.  They also partner with and support vetted military non-profit and service organizations  across the nation who offer critical services that provide an immediate impact for veterans and their families.   More information could be found at https://teeitupforthetroops.org/ .
