Every Tail Deserves a Happy Ending - Be the Hero They Think You Are

We believe that a house isn't a home without the pitter-patter of paws. But for hundreds of animals in our community, "home" is still just a dream.

Our local Tri County Humane Society is more than just a shelter; it’s a halfway house for the heartbroken and a hospital for the hurt. Whether it’s a senior cat looking for a quiet lap or a puppy who just needs a second chance, we provide the medical care, nourishment, and love they need until they find their "furever" family. Last year TCHS placed over 4,000 animals and performed over 3,000 surgeries. 

Our "House of Floof" family includes myself and my husband, Matthew, our 7y/o Beagle-Bassett Hound mix "Lilly," our 5y/o Siberian Husky "Loki," our 2y/o Calico kitty "Snickers," and the most recent addition our 1y/o German Shepard "tripawd" named "Trooper." Both Snickers & Trooper were both adopted from TCHS. We have been fostering for TCHS for the past year or so after adopting Snickers because we wanted to help as many others as we could. Trooper was supposed to be just a foster, but we "foster failed" because we instantly fell in love and so did the rest of our "House of Floof." Finding the extra room in our hearts was the easy part. Finding the extra room in the house was the harder part, but who cares right? 

Running a humane society is a 24/7 labor of love, and the costs add up quickly. From vaccinations and spay/neuter services to specialized behavioral assessments, every dollar you contribute goes directly toward preparing our residents for life outside the kennel.

Our Goal: $1,500 by Friday, April 17th.
