At Meals on Wheels Edina/Richfield/ SW Minneapolis we not only serve our seniors by delivering meals, we also check in with them and ensure they are doing ok. Some of our clients are homebound and don't regularly have human contact. Our volunteer drivers are some times the only human contact that they may have in a week.
This is not to say that the meals are not important however. We have many clients that are unable to leave the house to shop for groceries or are unable to stand long enough to cook a meal so having our meals ready when they need them is paramount.
NOTE: We can only link fundraisers to a single organization. The funds raised through this page will go to benefit Edina, Richfield, and South West Minneapolis Meals on Wheels.
