After a virtual event last year, this years Tri-County Humane Society Annual Walk will take place in-person and this makes me so happy.  I'm excited to bring Paige to her first TCHS event.  My wish is that this will spark a fire in her soul and show her how important it is to give back.  

This past year has showed us how important companion animals are for our mental and physical health.  According to studies the bond between people are their pets can increase fitness, lower stress and bring us happiness.  Pets can help mange loneliness and depression by giving us companionship.  

As a an independent, nonprofit animal shelter in Central Minnesota, the Tri-County Humane Society helps connect humans with that happiness.  Last year with help from people like you, homes were found for 3,731 animals.  The animals needs are met with kindness, love and support.  There is no time limit for the pets in their care.  All dogs, cats and rabbits are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; they are also vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.  

This organization has my heart and soul!  Throughout the 14 years of walking I have raised over $14,000.  My goal this year is to raise $1000 and I will start out the donations with a $100 gift.

Any donation is greatly appreciated, and if you can't donate, please share this cause with a friend or consider walking with your pet!?  This year's 5K event will take place at Wilson Park in St. Cloud on Saturday September 11, 2020.
