The Science of Reading provides educators evidence-based guidance to support teaching reading to students. Professional development to support the Science of Reading will have direct impact on student outcomes. There is an urgency to provide students the research-based instruction to ensure students reach their full potential. Unfortunately, district budgets are limited and the training is expensive. Your donation will support Columbia Heights Public Schools with providing the Science of Reading professional development to staff.
