Nibakure - Teen Mothers Sewing program

On July 27, 2023, the first batch of 20 students graduated from the sewing program and cooperative management.

And on August 1, 2023, this same group started its own cooperative with the funds raised through generous donors in Minnesota. We are very proud that the first year was successful.

At this time, we are asking you to help us with the training of the second class, which we hope to start in December 2023. The goal is to train another group of 20 teen mothers in sewing, handcrafting and business skills that will serve them and their families to improve their welfare. The objective for this fundraiser is to help establish the foundation for a self-sustaining entity, using cooperative business model principles.
