Support Brain Injury Survivors!

Greetings!

MN Brain Injury Force (MNBIF) needs help to provide programs for survivors!

The state might be shut down but MNBIF has to continue paying our bills! 

MNBIF has relied on our fundraisers at area restaurants to provide funding. How will we continue to exist? Well, it does help that MNBIF is managed by volunteers!  MN Brain Injury Force provides programs that continue on and on ....even when the state wants us to shut down!

* The "Survivor Garden" is managed by volunteers / survivors. These special people raise vegetables to share with other survivors. They need seeds, plants, supplies and tools for the garden. The volunteers / survivors incur transportation costs to get to the garden site and to deliver the produce to distribution sites. They would appreciate gas cards to help cover their transportation expense.

*PET Power ! Program relies on donations to help survivors with their costs of having a pet.

* The Brain Injury Grants = BIG, Care / Share and the Giving Programs exist to help survivors!

* Each of the 3 Brain Bash"s in May will have to be cancelled unless the state decides to open. 

                                                                          JUST THINK! 

Survivors do know what it is like to face a few of the problems that the public has had to face with the corona virus (COVID-19). 

Like Stay at Home! 

They know what it is like to have to stay home a lot! It might be very painful just to walk around inside their home. It takes a lot to Just Think!

Survivors are not able to drive their car to where they want to go.

Reasons might be:

* They have physical problems that prevent them from safely driving a car. 

* They might have no means for transportation. They can't afford the costs of having a car or even the funds to purchase a bus ticket.

* They might have lost their job and their spouse! 

* Their car had to be sold to pay for their health costs.

*  When they drive to the store - they get lost! They can not remember where the store is located. They might not remember where they parked their car but they will remember how to drive a car! 

The list goes on......
