Join us as we we help raise money for Sickle Cell Foundation of MN!

Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is a genetic disease that causes red blood cells to become hard and sticky. This devastating condition is lifelong and is known for causing strokes, organ failure and severe pain crisis. Many of these complications require urgent medical treatment and lengthy hospitalizations. Those living with SCD work incredibly hard to not be defined by the pain of this disease, but rather, their incredible strength and resiliency.

Sickle Cell Disease is the most common genetic blood condition found on newborn screenings in the U.S.  In Minnesota, nearly 30 babies are born with sickle cell disease each and every year and more than 1,200 babies are born annually with sickle cell trait, causing these babies highest risk for having future children with SCD!

Now you can join us and help us raise the much needed funds to help them improve outcomes in healthcare and quality of life as the community works toward curing this awful disease!
