Here’s the truth, friends! Small nonprofits are really, really struggling this year. If we want to keep Minneapolis wonderful and artistically thriving, we must support organizations like the Minnesota Fringe. I’ve been a board member at the Fringe for the last two years and this is a wonderful organization. It truly cares about audiences and artists, and it provides an unparalleled opportunity for artists from a wide variety of backgrounds, abilities, and experience levels to explore new ideas, make new work, and generate a livelihood.
Please join me this Give to the Max Day in donating and spreading the word! Our board of directors has found a donor to match all of our gifts, and I pledge to match any gift I receive via this appeal – that means your gift can go two times further than normal!
Even if you don’t typically go to the Fringe, please consider making a gift. The headwinds we are all facing are magnified for small nonprofits, like Fringe. It has seen its funding shrink and a pullback in corporate donors. If individuals don’t help make up the difference, there’s a good possibility there will be no Minnesota Fringe in 2026/2027!
Message me if you have questions/concerns/commitments/ideas and let’s preserve our local arts scene!
