We are the activists who drive the LGBTQ+ movement forward and the organizers who sustain hard-won progress. We embrace the ways that our identities intersect and fight for justice in areas where LGBTQ+ people are most impacted, such as affordable housing, racial and economic disparities, and criminal justice. In the fight for progress, we remain committed to our community and to each other. The National LGBTQ Task Force is a space for organizing and advocacy, and for people to come together and celebrate our LGBTQ+ identities.

Creating Change is our premier annual event. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind organizing and skills-building event for the LGBTQ community and our allies. The five-day program includes hundreds of workshops and training sessions, plus tons of networking opportunities and ways to meet people who also work in our movement.

YOUR support will help more LGBTQ+ individuals experience this life-changing conference with a gift that will provide:

  • need-based scholarships.
  • language justice accommodations.
  • disability justice accommodations.
  • …and more.

Through Creating Change and other advocacy programs, the National LGBTQ Task Force is training and mobilizing thousands of activists across the nation to deliver a world where you can be you. We ask that you make a gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, or more so that we can provide more Creating Change scholarships and support our work in 2027. The Task Force’s message of generosity and community is Rooted In Resistance Power and Love! Your commitment today will make it possible for more LGBTQ+ youth, elders, and those who are battling economic hardship to experience Creating Change with us in Louisville.

Remember – we cannot do this work without YOU!

Your gift today will help us continue our fight against those who weaponize hate and use racism, homophobia, transphobia, and xenophobia to marginalize the LGBTQ+ community by creating the next generation of activists.

Founded in 1973, the National LGBTQ Task Force advances full freedom, justice and equality for LGBTQ+ people. We are building a future where everyone can be free to be their entire selves in every aspect of their lives. Today, despite all the progress we’ve made to end discrimination, millions of LGBTQ+ people face barriers in every aspect of their lives: in housing, employment, healthcare, retirement, and basic human rights. These barriers must go. That’s why the Task Force is training and mobilizing millions of activists across our nation to deliver a world where you can be you. Join us!
