Based on the success of GiveAtHomeMN and Give to the Max Day in 2020, and in response to needs shared by nonprofits and schools, GiveMN is putting on this 11 Day statewide giving campaign.
Unfortunately, the pandemic isn’t over and Greater Twin Cities United Way is still seeing high demand locally for needs such as housing, food, education and job training programs.
Your generosity in November 2020 enabled us to:
Fund 569 calls to our 2-1-1 helpline, which refers individuals and families to resources like emergency housing, food, and mental health services.
Help 31 individuals seeking emergency shelter through our partners who serve those experiencing homelessness.
Provide meals and emergency food assistance to 1,558 individuals.
Support 99 children participating in educational programs to prepare for future success.
And... you created 1,673 hours of volunteer service through our Volunteer United Program. Volunteer projects require budgets, and volunteerism can be calculated by its value to an organization. The future projects you empowered are valued at over $40,000 alone.
We hope that you consider giving during SpringForwardMn, your gift will help us address the challenges no one can solve alone!
