ART is the heart of Zumbrota. Live it. Express it. Own it. Share it. That's what we do.

Here in Zumbrota, Minnesota, we consider ourselves incredibly lucky to be surrounded by very talented and very creative and just all-around very cool people. (We try not to feel smug or overly superior because of this, but it’s hard.)

Rather than gloating, however, we instead work to share our area’s artistic wealth, believing a vibrant arts organization is critical to a community’s health and energy. That’s why we sponsor a Youth Art Contest in conjunction with Zumbrota's Covered Bridge Days, and main street art exhibits (Art on Main). We host weekly summer concerts with ice cream and great music called, not surprisingly, Music in the Park. We own and operate a little historical gem called the State Theatre. Within it's vintage walls you can enjoy films, live theatre (Z-Theatre) and concerts by nationally renowned performers as well as home grown talent. We nurture young talent by awarding scholarships to artistic high school students.

Great art and music and writing and theater can happen anywhere...even in a small community like Zumbrota.
