World Hunger Fund is a branch of Zoe Now. Together, we are able to reach the world for Jesus.

THE BEGINNING:

Three years ago we stepped off a plane in Kampala, Uganda. We walked into a place we had never been, to a friend we had only met online. We were taking a step of faith, and trusting that the Spirit of God was going ahead of us, preparing a way and guiding our steps.

The walk of faith is often met with a bold tenacity to run with abandon towards the wild call God has set your heart ablaze for. Oftentimes, you don't know what is behind every turn, twist and bend. But you know that if you don't answer the call, you will feel incomplete.
So, you get on the planes. You sign up for the things. You make the phone calls.

You do it afraid.

OUR MISSION:

Since that first bold step of faith, we have never looked back. We have continued to do things afraid and expand our hearts with love as we have answered the call to Uganda, the Philippines, Israel and Honduras.

Our mission is to bring the love of Jesus to people groups that are so often forgotten & hurting - all while looking at their practical and spiritual needs. We have loved, supported, and cherished each friend we have met in this journey. What we offer is the freedom that is known in Jesus' love for each person, all while being led by the Holy Spirit.

The practical needs are great, and while it can oftentimes feel overwhelming, we have peace that what we are putting our hands on, is blessed by our heavenly Father.

SUCCESSFUL PROGRAMS IMPLEMENTED (UGANDA):

- We have purchased three parcels of land in Uganda. One has a newly built church on it, and the other two parcels of land are for a future school.
The church is thriving- even with the after-effects of COVID-19. People are hungry to know and follow our Lord and eagerly await every Sunday morning service.
- During COVID-19 lockdown, we were able to reach hundreds of people and provide food and basic necessities. This carried them through until the lockdown was lifted, and many could return to work.
- We continue to feed over 100 street boys each day, while additionally carrying for the medical needs that arise when you live each day on the street.

While we have been able to bless many people over the years with food, shelter, and even land,  our plan is to be able to build out our ministry even further.

THE NEED:

We own two parcels of land that we plan to build a school on. Currently, we have not been able to actually break ground and build the school due to lack of finances.

The school will be located in Western Uganda in a city called Kabwohe. The school will provide a christian education that includes street children as a percentage portion of the student body.  Our vision for this school is to meet the practical needs as well as educational - all while creating the foundation that each of these children are so completely loved by Jesus.

The school will provide jobs for many in the community as well as allow us the opportunity to provide more outreaches within the city of Kabwohe.  Additionally, through the use of the school building,  we will be providing housing for a percentage of street children that desperately need a home.

We need $10,000 to kick this project off the ground and begin building for phase one.

PHASE ONE INCLUDES:
-permits
-sewer/septic
-road access
-first building structure

Thank you for your consideration in giving to this need!
