For over forty years, WomenVenture has provided women of all ages, cultures, races, and income levels with the tools and resources to achieve economic success through small business ownership.

Our training and lending programs are structured to be accessible for all, regardless of business experience or income level. In the last year, WomenVenture has provided more than 4,300 hours of training to emerging women entrepreneurs and disbursed more than $1.9M in small business loans to local businesses.

WomenVenture client Dara Beevas is a prime example of a successful women entrepreneur. Dara co-founded Wise Ink Creative Publishing to help game-changing authors bring their ideas from manuscripts to print. In 2018, Dara came to WomenVenture to expand her thriving business. 

"WomenVenture was a game changer for Wise Ink," said client Dara about her publishing business.  WomenVenture provided a small business loan to the company, allowing Wise Ink to purchase a domain name, expand its staff, and position itself to scale. Today, Wise Ink is a $2 million dollar business that has helped more than 400 authors print their manuscripts and is transforming the literary space.
