Women Planting Seeds

Women Planting Seeds is a unique and intregal component in enhancing the lives of women and youth seeking new ways to move forward.

We are now a national leader in developing new ways of providing a wrap-around service model approach to sustainable lifestyles. It is our belief and experience that once individuals are empowered with the appropriate tools transformation happens. A lot of our core components have come from working with women exiting corrections, which includes women fleeing domestic violence situations and prostitution.

As one who had to learn to take charge of her own life, Mary Whitney has designed and developed a service model that helps build leaders and not victims, victors not loss souls.

We also work with the business community, universities, colleges and schools helping to enhance the lives of those being served. As we collaborate to provide avenues to integrate the gifts of those we work with into the broader context of our communities.

It is our belief that many of those we serve are not beyond hope to cope, but needed to find ways to reintegrate themselves back into the lives of their children/families. And the infrastructure for doing this had to come from within themselves - we provide that link and bridge to close the gaps.
