Women for Political Change Education & Advocacy Fund

Started as a student group at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Women for Political Change (WFPC) is a multi-racial, youth-led organization that holistically invests in the leadership and political power of young women and trans & non-binary individuals throughout Minnesota. Our membership includes anyone under the age of 30 that identifies with a historically marginalized gender identity (defined here: https://www.womenforpoliticalchange.org/appendix). 

WFPC fills the gap of training and leadership development opportunities for young women and trans & non-binary people in Minnesota. When young people are given the resources they need to navigate the political process, they are able to more effectively build collective power and lead social movements that create systematic change. We strategically cultivate alternative spaces for community education, healing, and mass mobilization in order to shift the face of power within public leadership. We host an ever-growing statewide network of young gender-marginalized people who lead with passion in their communities.
