Windom PTO

The Windom Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a nonprofit organization of Windom caregivers and staff that work hard to make our school community successful, welcoming, and fun. We use our fundraising dollars for educational apps, fun events including a school festival, field trips, yearbooks and spirit wear t-shirts for every student and staff member, teacher and staff appreciation meals, classroom supplies, and special grants, among other items.

Educational supports include Scholastic News and apps that aren't provided for in the school's budget. 

The reimbursement program gives each teacher and staff members a chance to turn in receipts for up to $300 worth of supplies.

The teacher emeritus program will bring a retired teacher to Windom part-time to help students with reading and other needs. 

Community building includes our spring festival and other events as well as spirit signs and spirit wear. 

Special grants include field day supplies, visits by local artists, recess improvements, and so much more. 

The PTO provides a Windom Wolf Pack shirt for each student and staff as well as yearbooks for everyone! 

Staff appreciation is a way for caregivers to give back to staff by providing snacks and meals throughout the year. 

Our organizational expenses are much less fun but important items like taxes, insurance, website, etc.
