Save Pollinators and Restore Prairie Habitat for Wildlife

A new project by Wildlife Forever, Prairie City USA, is working to address the loss of  pollinators and prairie habitat in Minnesota and across the United States.

The mission of Prairie City USA is “Building stronger communities through integrated prairie habitat, conservation best practices and civic leadership.” The program was created out of need to make prairie common again in a region where less than 1% of its original range remains, due to urban development and agricultural land use. This fragmentation has resulted in the drastic reduction and endangerment of wildlife and pollinators that still depend on prairie ecosystems for survival.

Protect Our Lakes and Rivers

Wildlife Forever works to Protect Minnesota's lakes from aquatic invasive species with the Clean Drain Dry Initiative TM. Education and outreach throughout Minnesota and the entire US works to remind boaters, anglers, and recreationalists of the importance of preventing the spread of invasive species.  Learn more at CleanDrainDry.org

Support Youth Education and Arts Integration

The Fish Art Contest reaches thousands of youth each year. Fish Art is a unique program teaching youth about the importance of fish, fish and aquatic conservation. This free contest runs with support from users like you!

Launching in 2021 the Art of Conservation  Songbird Art Contest will highlight the unique needs of North American songbirds.  Building off the successful  Fish Art Contest® and inspired by the legacy of artist and conservationist Jay Norwood Darling, participants will learn about a North American Songbird Species and compete for prizes and international recognition.
