At Wilderness Inquiry, we believe that everyone belongs in the outdoors.

Our mission is to connect people of all ages, backgrounds, identities, and abilities through shared outdoor adventures so that all people can equitably experience the benefits of time spent in nature.  Through our core values of paddling together, finding a way, seeking the exceptional, and nurturing inclusion, we promote the outdoors as a place where everyone belongs.

In 2023, we are on track to engage more than 28,000 individuals in immersive, accessible outdoor experiences - witnessing the transformative benefits of the outdoors that challenge the familiar and introduce the extraordinary. But access to the outdoors is not equitably available to all.

With your support, Wilderness Inquiry can invest in meaningful programs and adventures that:

• Build social and emotional skills and promote outdoor equity for underserved youth

• Bring families and individuals together for extended outdoor adventures - near and far

• Provide scholarships for people with financial need, programs for underserved youth and families, and support services for people with disabilities

• Remove barriers such as transportation to make the outdoors accessible, helping thousands of people connect to nature and one another
