WFP USA rallies American supporters, companies and leaders to raise funds and shape public policy to fight hunger around the world.

World Food Program USA (WFP USA) is a nonprofit organization that builds support in the United States to end global hunger. WFP USA engages individuals and organizations, shapes public policy and generates resources for the United Nations World Food Program and other hunger relief operations.

Close to one billion people are hungry in the world today—more people than the populations of the USA, Canada and the European Union combined.

Hunger and malnutrition are 100 percent preventable.  There is enough food to feed every man, woman, child and baby on earth: the issue is access and justice.

World Food Program USA is leading the fight to end global hunger. When disaster strikes, WFP is the first on the ground to deliver food to the people that need it most, whether last year's famine in the Horn of Africa to the more than 10 million people in the Sahel we're working to reach now.

But disaster relief is just the beginning.  As the largest humanitarian organization in the world, WFP helps break the cycle of hunger and malnutrition by helping individuals, families, and communities become self sufficient and withstand future food crises.  We empower small-scale farmers and deliver millions of school meals each year so children in the world's poorest countries can learn and thrive.  We also help nations develop safety nets so they can better face these challenges in the future.

We are powered by your donations to help change and save lives. WFP served more than 99 million people in 75 countries last year—but with the current food crisis in the Sahel and rising food prices, there's still so much more we can do together.  We need your voice to help us win the fight against hunger.

It’s you against hunger.
