$5,000 Goal

Thank you to everyone who helped with our goal last year.  Let's do it again this year!

  • Our audience makes all the difference.  Without your support, we would not be able to give free concerts throughout the year.

The Hopkins Westwind Concert Band (HWCB), under the direction of Conductor Mike Anderson and Conductor Emeritus Don Bates, is a community band based in Hopkins, Minnesota. Since 1983 the HWCB has been making music in the Twin Cities metro area.

The mission of the HWCB is to provide the community with live concert band entertainment while engaging adult musicians in lifelong musical learning.  Now in its 39th year, the band's 75 musicians maintain an active performance schedule.   They perform spring and fall concerts at the Hopkins Center for the Arts, a holiday concert at Eisenhower Community Center, and  summer concerts throughout the metropolitan area.  All HWCB concerts are free.

Our fundraising goal this year is $5000. Your gift will help the HWCB cover costs for our many fixed expenses, such as equipment storage, insurance, conductor's stipend, rental space, and music. The HWCB, a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization serving the greater Twin Cities metro area, greatly appreciates your tax-deductible gifts.
