Bringing Healthy Back by providing a place that promotes healthy living through recreation, education and activities.

The West Medicine Lake Community Club ("WMLCC") has been a part of the community for more than 50 years. A place to gather, socialize, learn and grow- a community recreation facility that gives back to the community with a back to the basics approach that promotes healthy living through community recreation, education, programs and activities.  

We hope this philosophy speaks to you. In the last 20 years there as been an undeniably dramatic rise in obesity. Obesity is related to many health conditions including heart disease, stroke and Type 2 diabetes. Medical costs related these conditions are also rising. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that more than one third (1/3) of US adults are now obese. Physical inactivity is directed related to obesity.

WMLCC intends to encourage physical activity and recreation through dance and other forms of exercise and encourage overall healthy living through our community education, programs and activities- some of which are listed below.

    Beginners- Wednesday evenings

    Intermediate/ Advanced- Tueday & Thursday evenings

Use of the space by Tai Chi groups, non-profit groups for their regular meetings and hobbies like quilting.

A great dance floor looking for more classes- Zumba, square dance or ???
