Everyone will be individually confident, achieving goals together.

We celebrate our achievements and embrace our growing diversity.

Our vision at Weaver Elementary School is that students and adults at Weaver will be individually confident, achieving goals together.  At Weaver we use a community approach to work toward achieving our vision while building a safe, caring, and enriching learning environment. Our mission is to support everyone to LEAD: Life-long learners Empowered for Achievement with Determination.  We are proud to work towards our mission through The Leader in Me.

Weaver is home to approximately 550 students in grades K-5.  Our diverse student population represents a growing diversity: 41% Asian,  28% White, 10% Hispanic/Latino, 10% Black, 10% Two or More Races, and 1% American Indian.  Our student population also represents a growing diversity of needs: 64% Students in Free and Reduced meal programs, 30% English Learners, and 15% Special Education.

We believe all of our students are capable of success. Therefore, we work with each student to ensure they engage in learning that builds upon their knowledge, skills, and character.  We have shown through our academic achievement results that our students are showing achievement despite challenges.  We continue to do this with the generous support of parents, guardians, and community members.

Through each school year, we strive for better services and support.  We continue to experience a growing need for resources to support our new-to-country English Learners who are joining us, our students who are in transitions and need food and clothing, our students who need access to services and materials that will help them most, our students who need connections to other supportive adults, and our students who deserve an enriching challenge.

We welcome and appreciate any amount of support to help us better serve our students.
