Make an immediate impact – your support changes lives

Children’s mental health has hit crisis levels.

It takes a village to respond to this community problem, and your compassionate generosity helps Washburn Center navigate the current landscape. Record rates of families have turned to Washburn Center therapists as their children experience increased anxiety and depression.

Children’s mental health challenges are more complex than ever. Youth continue to struggle to re-acclimate to school—academically and developmentally. A 2022 U of MN survey of principals confirmed that mental health is “the most significant ongoing pandemic-related challenge.”

Our mission

As a place of hope and healing, Washburn Center for Children is a leading innovator in children’s mental health care. Annually, we walk alongside nearly 4,000 families, meeting them where they are emotionally, economically, and geographically.

Please take a moment and hear from Washburn Center CEO Craig Warren.

Despite the past year’s volatility, parents indicated that Washburn Center mental health care substantially impacted their lives.  One mother shared how this partnership was critical in her family’s journey.

“Where do I even begin... Thank you for everything over the past couple of years. You have been so much to our family. On our worst days, you were there to help find ways to help. On our best days, you were there to celebrate. And during our summer of chaos, you were there trying to help in all directions. You found a way for me to open up and trust you, not just with Kenny but also about my childhood and myself. I am so glad you were one of Kenny and my stepping-stones in life.”
