Warriors Next Adventure is a nonprofit designed to help give veterans 3 things. Camaraderie, sense of purpose/hope, and adventure. We specialize in crisis intervention and suicide prevention with a 24/7 suicide hotline where veterans can text/call anonymous if need be if they need someone to talk to. We have multiple programs we use to bring people together and give them the camaraderie and adventure we crave when leaving the military. We use these opportunities to talk to veterans to find out what is holding them back from taking the next step in life. We talk about the traumas that may be the cause to flashbacks and PTSD, then we talk about what the path is to a better life. Our founder Nick Rahn is a crisis intervention specialist with 8 years experience as a 911 dispatcher, 6 years as Air Force Security forces, and multiple training courses in hostage negotiation, suicide prevention and crisis intervention. He coaches veterans through tough times and helps them see the light at the end of the tunnel.
