Help us to help homeless pets!

Warm Fuzzies Animal Rescue Inc was established in 2011 on the east coast. We were very busy helping abandoned pets, left behind when people moved, pets to be re-homed, adult cats and baby kittens found outside and assisted overflowing shelters in Virginia and surrounding states. We fostered the pets and would advertise and hold events at Petco to help the pets find loving homes. Our last years in Virginia we helped find homes for over 100 cats and dogs each year!

We relocated to Duluth,  Minnesota in November, 2013. We are a foster-based rescue, LICENSED and BONDED in Duluth, MN. We now hold adoption events at DULUTH PETSMART! We hold garage sale / fundraisers in the Spring and Fall each year.

*See our media gallery for photos of our work! *

We saw a need for pet rabbits in the Duluth area, so we now take in pet rabbits, spay/ neuter and help them find loving homes! Since then, we have also taken in Chinchillas and Guinea Pigs too to help them find a home whether it be owner surrenders or having been abandoned!

We  had been working on spay and neutering many cats and kittens living outside in a rural area. It was brought to our attention that a young kitten had been living with an injured eye. They said a larger cat tried to pick up the kitten with his mouth and a tooth injured the little kitten's eye! Poor baby had been living that way for a few weeks! We were able to get the kitten sponsored to take into our care and was seen at Happy Tails vet, where they were able to save the kitten's eye! Little BlackJack, we once thought was a boy turned out to be a girl and a very sweet, affectionate kitten! Very brave to go through all her treatments! She has now been adopted by Rosemary and is loving life in her new home! No more suffering with a bad eye and struggling living outside!

Meet Tucker! This sweet boy was a friendly neighborhood stray that must have been abandoned at one time. He would wander the streets and a nice lady would feed him.

One day, last February, the lady heard a terrible "shreak" from him!! It was a very cold day and she saw him limping through the ice and snow! When she caught up with him, she could see he was bleeding!

We took Tucker into our foster care and had him seen at Hapy Tails. He seemed to have possibly been attacked outside and had wounds both inside and outside of his back leg! His wounds were treated, he got lots of rest and good food and he recovered quickly. He is a very friendly boy! He stayed with us until last August, he found a permanent home with a great cat lady! She already had another cat that looked just like him! They are very good friends and he is loving life as an indoor cat!

We are grateful to have lots of support from Happy Tails Animal Hospital and Petcare of Duluth. We could not do it without all of your wonderful  help and support of rescue pets!

We DO NOT receive any government funding! We only get by on donations from kind, generous, pet loving people!  Duluth Petsmart, Facebook,  Walmart, Fleet farm, or other organizations that contribute to our cause such as Network for Good!  We hold garage sale/ fundraisers twice a year. We also use our own homes, cars and funds to keep things running smoothly!

We can use help with providing soft blankets, towels, rags, small rugs, laundry detergent,  puppy pads, pet food such as PurinaOne Healthy kitten ( blue bag),  Iams adult Chicken, Iams kitten food.  Friskies or Fancy Feast canned food .  We also use Iams, Blue Buffalo , Science Diet, Wellness and Fancy Feast cat food. Kitten formula and goat milk. We use Timothy hay for our rabbits and rabbit pellets. You can find our foster pets on Petfinder and Facebook. We post on "Pet of the Week" in the Duluth News Tribune.

We would love having more help with fostering, volunteering, fundraising and marketing!  Our garage sales keep getting bigger but we keep getting older and we need help with sorting, moving and arranging things twice a year! If you are interested in volunteering, please call or email us!

If you are having trouble donating on our page, please contact us on our facebook page or our contact phone number is 218-576-8534.  We have our pets posted on www.warmfuzzies.petfinder.com and on our facebook page.
