WalkTalkConnect is non-profit 501 (C) (3) dedicated to building a “peer-to-peer” mentoring community that connects patients and caregivers facing the unique challenges rare brain & spinal cord tumors present.  

This past year, you raised $3000 for patient therapies and support programs for Givens Brain Tumor Center!! Additionally, $2000 was also allocated to WalkTalkConnect for continued patient support events and meet-ups.

Why is this so important?

Because it will aid in our mission to build “peer-to-peer” mentoring communities with patients and their families so they can openly share personal experiences, stories, advice and support online and face-to-face meet-ups.  These interactions are vital to the physical, mental and emotional recovery process these families face.  With each connection made, families feel less alone.  

What Your Dollars Support.

Your dollars support programs, meet-up events and informational books like "Reconnected" that all help patients, caregivers and the medical community to connect, share and learn from one another to further the healing process after diagnosis, surgery and treatment.  

Our close relationship with The Givens Brain Tumor Center and Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute allows us to connect with these patients and families and provide supplemental support alongside their continued medical advancement.  

With your donation, we can provide the necessary support and resources in 2024 for patients and caregivers facing a "new normal” life.
