We are the Waite Park PTA!

On this Give to the Max Day, we invite you to support the Waite Park PTA!

The Waite Park Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an organization of parents and teachers whose goal is to support the education of all students at Waite Park by being involved in our children's education through service, oversight, fundraising and creating strong parent, teacher and community networks in support of the school. We also seek to enrich the education of our children by providing resources in support of educational opportunities outside traditional classroom activities.

What does the PTA do with the money it raises?  Our purpose is to engage and empower families and communities to advocate for our children, and your contribution help us do that in a variety of ways.  We support classroom field trips and supplies; contribute to enrichment programs; host FREE family events; and fund scholarships for after-school programs.  

So far this year, we've funded the Letterland curriculum for Kindergarten through 2nd graders; the Freckle Math/Literacy curriculum for 4th through 5th graders; paid for the Bell Museum ExploraDome onsite fieldtrip for the whole school; and purchased meals/treats for our fantastic Waite Park teachers and staff.  We also hosted the "Wildcat Welcome Back!" playdate and "Say Boo to the Flu!" a Taco Truck + Flu Shot Clinic + Book Fair event.   And we still have much more to do, including a number of family service night events, and the Spring Carnival!

Individual donations are a HUGE part of our fundraising success, and we hope you will support us this year!
