Help the Twin Cities Jewish Chorale celebrate its 10th Anniversary Season as it brings to the Twin Cities choral music that is part of the rich musical legacy of the Jewish experience.
Do you want to help ensure the future of Jewish choral music in the Twin Cities?
TCJC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2009. It is volunteer-run, inclusive, and multi-generational, and its mission is to engage people in the rich heritage of Jewish music, poetry, and culture through choral concerts and outreach events.
As the only choir in the Twin Cities area specializing in Jewish choral music, TCJC is a valuable part of the Twin Cities’ diverse culture. It performs three formal concerts a year and a number of shorter programs to communities who cannot easily attend one of the concerts (e.g., Sholom Home East and West, Jones-Harrison Residence).
In past seasons TCJC also has:
Led an Adult Jewish Learning seminar, “But What Makes it Jewish? An Experience with Theater, Music and the Visual Arts,” at Temple Israel in Minneapolis
Participated as featured performers in the Israel at 70 celebration held in April 2018
Performed a concert for the residents of Cornerstone Creek, an independent living facility for adults with special needs, that is part of Jewish Housing and Programming.
This 2018-19 season our concerts celebrate Leonard Bernstein’s 100th birthday and the works of Minnesota Jewish composers. We also will participate in a joint concert with McPhail Music Center for Music and the Adath Jeshurun Choir in a performance of Ernest Bloch’s Sacred Service (Avodath Hakodesh).
Become part of the TCJC community by contributing a tax-deductible gift. Typical amounts range from $20 to $250 through our website (http://twincitiesjewishchorale.org/support-us/) or by mail (Twin Cities Jewish Chorale, PO Box 16124, Minneapolis, MN 55416).
Your gift ensures audiences the experience of Jewish music for years to come.
