Mission 

Our mission is to provide safe housing and supportive services for youth who have aged out of the foster care system.  

Organization

Nearly 20% of youth who age out of foster care become homeless immediately, and another 65% have no stable place to call home, often couch-hopping or staying in shelters. We believe that with Jesus, caring adults, consistency, and the right resources, this story can change. One way Transparent is addressing this need is through a transitional housing program that offers a safe, supportive home environment where young adults can live while they build stability and work toward independence. Our goal is to create a space that feels like family—a place where they are known, supported, and equipped for the next chapter of life.

We are currently raising $20,000 for the purchase and preparation of land to begin building these homes. We are already 75% of the way there, having raised just over $15,000, can you help us this give to the max day to raise the last $5,000? Our heart is to see youth aging out of the system find a place to belong and to be equipped for independence and success. It all begins with meeting one of the most fundamental needs: a home.
