INDEPENDENCE IS PRICELESS!

TRAIL has been driving for independence since 1991. We make a difference…one subsidized ride at a time. But it’s about so much more than a ride.

TRAIL provides transportation for adults with developmental disabilities living in Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina and Richfield. We solely transport our riders to recreation, leisure and educational programs offered by AR&LE (Adaptive Recreation & Learning Exchange). All programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities.

For many, TRAIL is their only affordable transportation option, providing them independence and the opportunity to learn, socialize and truly be a part of their community. Through fundraising, grants and donations, TRAIL subsidizes the cost of transportation, and riders pay a nominal amount in roundtrip fare.

Independence boosts confidence, reduces reliance on others, promotes a positive outlook and opens opportunities. Independence is priceless! Thank you for supporting TRAIL and getting our riders to the activities they love!

TRAIL brings independence to adults with developmental disabilities by providing affordable transportation to AR&LE (Adaptive Recreation and Learning Exchange) programs. AR&LE offers recreation, leisure and community education opportunities specifically designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities in Eden Prairie, Edina, Richfield and Bloomington. 

Without transportation to their much-loved AR&LE programs, these adults would lose the opportunity to bowl, cook, dance, golf, swim, exercise, learn and socialize with their friends; something most of us take for granted!
