The Together In Hope Project performed the  U.S. premiere of its new musical project “The Stranger” at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in Saint Paul, Minn., on Oct. 15-16. Together In Hope Project commissioned “The Stranger” to raise global awareness about refugees and displaced persons and is raising funds for humanitarian aid for refugees in partnership with USA for UNHCR (the UN Refugee Agency). 

Concert attendees included Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway and more than 650 refugees and recent immigrants as our guests. “We started Together In Hope Project to focus the transformative power of music on issues of our shared humanity, and the plight of refugees is one of the most critical issues of our time,” said Gary Aamodt, co-founder, Together In Hope Project. “It is our hope that this work will awaken and activate all who hear it to work for a world where all are respected, included and welcome.”
