Many of us can point to an experience in childhood that sparked a lifelong passion, ignited a dream for the future, or otherwise informed who we became as adults. Now imagine being denied that experience due to lack of resources, lack of access, or lack of a caring adult to lead the way.

Since 1994, Tickets for Kids® Charities (formerly Tix for Tots) has been dedicated to enriching the lives of low-income and at-risk kids by providing free access to the cultural, sporting, and educational venues of their community. We believe that museums, concerts, ballgames, and trips to the zoo should be part of every childhood.

We meet our mission through the TFK Cultural Access Program, which acquires donated tickets from a network of individual and institutional donors, then distributes the tickets through approved and vetted social service agencies. We're working to close the portion of the opportunity gap that prevents low-income children from accessing the same cultural resources routinely enjoyed by their more affluent peers.

Give to the Max Day is crucial for Tickets for Kids. We are a 100% donor-funded nonprofit, and we charge no fee for service. Funds generated on Give to the Max Day directly support our ability to give more children throughout the Twin Cities the opportunity to participate in experiences that can spark an interest, ignite a passion, and shape a future without limits.
