Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals often experience isolation — especially in homes where sign language and Deaf culture are not understood. Others are working to rebuild their lives after violence or discrimination, striving for independence in a world that too often overlooks their voices.

Since 2017, ThinkSelf has stood alongside survivors, learners, and allies in the Deaf community — providing pathways to safety, self-advocacy, and lifelong learning.

This year, your support is more vital than ever. Your donation helps us provide essential services and resources, including:

• Safe transportation and relocation for survivors escaping domestic violence.
• Technology and equipment loans so Deaf learners can stay connected and continue their education.
• Transportation access for students and job seekers to reach school, training, and employment.
• Financial assistance for victims and survivors of violence — covering filing fees, interpreting services, apartment deposits, and more.
• Basic necessities such as food, winter clothing, and essential household items.
• Community education and outreach to raise awareness about Deaf rights, safety, and empowerment.
