Thief River Falls Community Arts Council

The Thief River Falls Area Community Theater (TRFACT) began in 1976 and was known as the Thief River Falls Community Arts Council until 2012, when the name was changed to better reflect what the organization had become.  Started as an umbrella organization for the arts, and eventually being abandoned sometime in the late 1980s/early1990s, the organization was revised in 1996 becoming solely a theater company.  Since 1996, we have produced 77 full-length shows in Thief River Falls, as well as over 30 radio shows, festivals and other events that complement our mission.

Speaking of our mission, we take it very seriously.  Our mission is printed on every board agenda and read aloud at the beginning of each meeting:

The mission of the Thief River Falls Area Community Theater is two-fold:  to provide local performers with outlets for creative expression; and to provide quality entertainment for audiences.  

We are proud of how far this grassroots organization has come in over 25 years.  Please be assured that any contributions will be used thoughtfully and purposefully to continue to grow and build our theater community.
