Support our “housewarming”

This Give to the Max, we’re inviting you to contribute to a housewarming for our newest exhibit, The House. We don’t need pots, pans or cutlery, but we do need your support to create spaces and programs where all children and their families belong.

The activities in The House help children make real-life engineering connections between the spaces they live in and potential career paths. The exhibit is full of hands-on activities designed for visitors to:

  • Peel back the walls to reveal the systems that make a home function
  • Introduce visitors to careers involved in constructing a house, including skilled trades
  • Create personal STEM learning experiences that inspire career dreams

It takes a community to make a house a home. As we welcome visitors to The House please support our work and help us fill our home with learning and laughter.

Our mission is to inspire the next generation of innovators, engineers, and creative problem solvers.

The Works Museum’s unique focus on reaching elementary students helps to ignite their passion for STEM and build their STEM skills and confidence. Our vision is to serve as the primary pathway for elementary-age youth into engineering, technology, and manufacturing careers, ensuring a highly skilled workforce that is representative of our community.
