The Works Museum

A nonprofit organization

Your gift makes an impact.

Established in 1995, The Works Museum is a child-focused interactive science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) museum, and a leader in providing K-6 informal elementary engineering education for the Twin Cities metro area, greater Minnesota, and neighboring counties. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of innovators, engineers, and creative problem solvers.

The Works Museum’s unique focus on reaching elementary students helps to ignite their passion for STEM and build their STEM skills and confidence. Our vision is to serve as the primary pathway for elementary-age youth into engineering, technology, and manufacturing careers, ensuring a highly skilled workforce that is representative of our community.

Every child has the ability to engineer, we believe everyone should have access to high-impact, equitable STEM education. In 2022 our free and subsidized programs hit an all-time record of 29% as we expanded our outreach through partnerships like the one in the video below.

With your help, we can offer even more of these critical STEM experiences throughout Minnesota. Please make donation, in any amount, this Give to the Max Day.

We can’t thank you enough.
