Since we opened our doors in 2015, The Good Acre has been getting locally grown, healthy, and culturally relevant crops into the community. This season was our busiest yet with over $1.4 million dollars spent with small farmers and producers across all of our programs. Through our work, we are investing in a system where food from here is for here -- and it's working!

When there is a demand for more produce than an individual farmer can fulfill, a food hub helps to solve the problem by aggregating from many small farmers. By doing so, we are unlocking the power of local food purchasing dollars to make an impact for more farmers and producers of color in our region. Not only do our programs expand market opportunities for farmers, but we are also supporting food business entrepreneurship through our shared-use commercial kitchen and our vocational culinary training program because we know that culinary professionals have an opportunity to shape a regional food system that values nutrition, the environment, and our local economy.

As the largest food hub in Minnesota, The Good Acre plays a critical role in connecting food and people in our state. We want healthy food EVERYWHERE: in schools, in hospitals, in food banks, and on your table! Your support this Give to the Max Day helps us continue working toward a food future that is equitable, secure, and delicious.

Thank you to our matching sponsors Land O'Lakes and TGA Board Members.
