The BrandLab

A nonprofit organization

The BrandLab's vision is a marketing and advertising industry that thrives on the insights and creativity of people with diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. We introduce, guide, and prepare Brown and Black students and students from lower-income backgrounds for careers in the industry.

Thanks to supporters like you, The BrandLab's mission continues to grow and build momentum despite the challenges of COVID-19. More young talent across communities are getting engaged and connected to the industry.  We're innovating and strengthening programming as we look ahead to the new hybrid work reality.

Four pillars continue to guide our work.

You can't ask for a job if you don't know it exists. That's why The BrandLab starts in high school, connecting students to the industry through our experiential Spark workshops where students learn about career paths and The BrandLab.

Our paid Internship program connects young talent in high school or college and beyond into the creative agencies and corporate marketing teams to gain real-world job experience, grow 21st-century skills, and develop their first professional network.

The College and Beyond program deepens connections with young talent in The BrandLab network through leadership experience, scholarships, mentorships, Fellowships, and ongoing professional development.

Talent must be able to enter an industry that is actively working to reduce bias and create more inclusive work, workers, and workplaces. Through our Fearless programs (a combination of workshops and events), we work with our partners on their journey to ensure that their work and workplaces are culturally competent and equitable.

Our mission is not possible without people like you. Join the movement. Donate today.
