Ely Community Resource

Ely Community Resource has been supporting youth development activities for K-12 since 1978! 

 That is over 47 years!  

We maintain our goal to welcome all students and uplift caregivers by offering them tools to see a brighter future for themselves and their families.  Over this time we have fostered an invaluable connection with the school that allows us to support students in and out of the classroom.  Offering tutoring, social guidance, recreational outlets, leadership development, intergenerational & mentoring activities as well as family support.  Our programs are entirely sustained by grants and generous donations from community members and supporters.  Through this, our programs have remained free or mostly free!  

We rely on the ingenuity of our employees to develop programs and activities that minimize daily costs in order to continue to support the thing that matters most to us – 

youth and families!

HELP US PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ELY AREA YOUTH!

Though we have come up with some creative solutions in the past, the fact still remains that running programs require time, staff, and resources.  This 25 - 26 Give to the Max season we are looking for funds to cover the little things that make a BIG IMPACT.  As well as financial support for some larger projects and costs that can help us and our families long term.

Healthy Snacks for our students	Children Garden Updates - New Mud Kitchen, Replacing old wood
Crayons, Colored Pencils, Markers	Van Maintenance - ensures safe transportation for our kids
Craft Supplies like Glue, Paint and Paint brushes	Emergency Funds for Families - helps provide assistance for housing, food, transportation and other basic needs
Paddles/Life Jackets	Operational Funds - these unrestricted funds are the backbone of any non profit to help maintain stability and mission delivery
White boards / Markers	Additional Staffing - with our growing numbers it is crucial for our programs to maintain an optimal staff to student ratio
Winter Layers	Long Term Financial Stability
