Current Project: Kiss of the Spider Woman: The Musical

Step into a world where fantasy and reality intertwine in Kiss of the Spider Woman: The Musical, presented by Teatro del Pueblo at The Southern Theater, November 14–23, 2025.

This Tony-Award-winning musical by John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Terrence McNally unfolds inside an Argentinian prison, where Molina, a romantic dreamer, escapes his harsh reality through visions of his favorite film star – the mysterious Spider Woman. His cellmate, Valentin, a passionate revolutionary, is devoted to his political cause. As tensions rise and alliances shift, the boundaries between truth and illusion unravel in this hauntingly beautiful tale of resistance, passion, and the power of storytelling.

Experience Teatro del Pueblo’s bold reimagining of this musical masterpiece as we celebrate Latine voices, queer identity, and the power of resilience!
