"Come to me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Matthew 11:28

In this time of discord, uncertainty, and confusion, Jesus continues to offer himself as the source of true peace and comfort. At TCJHOP, we believe intimacy with God through worship and intercession based on His Word is essential to the furthering of one’s healing and fuels our ministry to others. As we encounter God in worship and prayer, and grow in our submission to Jesus Christ, we also grow in friendship with and love for God. It is in relationship with Jesus and through the power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives that we are healed and transformed.

Our desire is to see followers of Jesus engaged regularly in individual and corporate worship and intercession while also contending for justice—proclaiming the good news to the poor, binding up the brokenhearted, proclaiming freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners (Isaiah 61:1).

Over the past year, we've had two support and discipleship groups meeting regularly. We are supporting churches to start their own discipleship groups using a toolkit we designed. We have begun working toward raising up a new group of small group leaders to launch a deep-dive discipleship journey next fall. And, we continue to meet with folks one-on-one for discipleship and mentoring.

Still, this year continues to be a tight year financially. Giving is down everywhere, and we feel the change keenly. In order to continue to bring peace, comfort, hope, and healing to our community, we are working to expand our base of support by inviting new people to give to and pray for the ministry. This support will help bridge our 2025 giving gap, as well as provide for regular prayer room hours, equipping classes, and support groups for those that are hurting.

Every gift matters, no matter the size. We invite you to partner with us to bring the message of hope and healing to the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.
