Helping Children in 3rd World Countries
Before forming the Sun in My Heart organization in late 2004, we were helping orphans, homeless and impoverished children in Vietnam. Both as individuals and through the help of friends we brought money, food and clothes, books and school supplies to the needy children of Vietnam every time we would travel there.After having an article written in Reader’s Digest in 2004, we formed Sun in My Heart to be able to make a bigger difference. Since our early beginnings, we’ve helped hundreds of children get support in as many ways as their age and situation allows. As Adventure Traveler’s, we travel to some of the most remote regions on earth and always meet hundreds of children who need help. Through the years during our travels, we’ve also met amazing local people and organizations that are committed to helping these children and changing their lives. We always enjoy traveling and coming across a person or organization that selflessly gives their time to helping local children and we love being able to encourage them on their quest through resources, education and assistance.
